Browsing our dictionary with the help of the alphabetical indices takes 3 steps:

Step one: Choose the index you are interested in from the menu on the left - this will load an alphabet box.

Step two: Select the first letter of the lemma you are interested in from the alphabet box. This will, for example, open a list of Old English plant names (bold type) and the corresponding variants (normal type). Beware: the List of Latin lemmata is automatically generated from our occurrences; there may be inconsistencies. We are currently working to solve this problem.

Step three: By clicking a plant name you open the quick-info box which will provide you with the most important facts on the lemma. To view the whole datasheet for the entry you need to register. (Registration is free.)
