Maybe erroneus for →āc-lēaf: Cf. BTS, s.v. ācleac, and Kindschi (1951). There is a different but not convincing approach by Waldorf (1953,38): "H. Meritt suggests that ācleac may be a transposition for alce āc 'any oak', as distinct from the preceding entry in WW of ROBOR: iung āc and by analogy with the entry from the same glossary animal: ælc cuce þinc, WW 118,29."
