    Obviously the gloss is short for →eorþ-nafela or a similar form but not for →nefte (nepte) as suggested by Lindheim (1941,n.315); also cf. C 36, Gough (1974,277): SPARAGI eorþnaflan. On the L lemma cf. s.v. →eorþ-nafela.
