    Cf. BTS, s.v. cynce and WW 718/22: HIC FACICULUS, a kynch. The context of the LB: genim dweorgedwostlan 7 gytþrifan cyncean makes the translation much more plausible than Cockayne's suggestion (1961,III,374) that this occurrance is a writing error for Kuice, cf. →cwice.
