    On FRUTECTA cf. note on AldVNa 2,28; UIRECTA etc. cf. Wynn (1961,659): "CL VIRECTA,-ORUM, green places, green spots, greensward. Hence the meaning 'grass' and hence, presumably, the OE glossing quicae, couch-grass. The original all-Latin gloss is seen in Corpus, U 163 UIRECTA, QUAE IN AGRIS UIRENT."

    HA: Suggested by D'Aronco (1998,54) on basis of the L text (GRAMEN QUOD IN SE TRIFRUCTUM HABET) and the illustration in HA, identification is backed up by Van Arsdall (2002,183).
