    On CRAMBE cf. Laud 449 CAMBRIC .I. BRASSICA. We cannot explain CORUUS 'Rabe'[1] as L lemma to cavel; the DOE suggests: "for PES CORVI? cf. hræfnesfōt". L MAGUDARIS originally denotes the stalk or the root of the plant LASERPITICUM (cf. Klotz 1879, s.v.) but was later used to denote the cabbage core: cf. AhdGl 3,561,8: MAGUDER kolstoc; 3,515,37: MAGUDER koltrunc, and Diefenbach 1857, s.v. MAGUDER.

The error naedderwyrt for cawel most likely is because of the immediately following chapter CXXXI (HERBA BASILICA ƀ is naedderwyrt).
