    In recipe 99/19ff. there is an occurrance of curmeallan (cf. →curmealle), so fel­terre has to be specifyed as 'little', analog to CENTAURIA MINOR. Also cf. Britten / Holland (1886,178): "Feltrike. 'The small centaury.' Prompt. Parv. Hal. Erythraea centaurium L. This appears to be only a corruption of the old Latin name FEL TERRAE."
