    MARRUBIUM is generally accepted as name for Marrubium vulgare L., horehound, Weißer Andorn but OE hūne denotes B. nigra L. because M. vulgare is called hāre-hune. M. vulgare and B. nigra are quite similar in habitus but not in coloration, cf. the G manes Weißer Andorn, Schwarzer Andorn.
