The L lemma PERISTEREON, denotes either Verbena officinalis L. or Lycopus europaeus L. (cf. André 1985, s.v.). According to Dioscorides (1902,395) the latter grows in wet and marshy places (also cf. Clapham 1962,739) which would account for the form fen-; -lectere according to Stracke (1974,n.1161) is -leahtrice which is not clear.
