    L CARBASINUS = 'made of fine Spanish linen, aus feiner spanischer Leinwand' but the glossator seems to have confused the meaning with glosses like CGL 5,493,58 CARPASIM COLOR GEMMĘ UIRIDIS. On the propable biblical context (Esther 1,6) cf. Pheifer (1974,n.298).
