    Not recorded anywhere else. PROMPTUARIUM = 'pantry, Vorratskammer'. There are probably two related but non-botanical glosses: AMPHITEATRIS wierteardes. witehuses: AldVNa 3333; wyerteardes witehuses: AldVGo 3225; cf. Goossen's, note: "Wyerteardes read wite(g)eardes. The gloss. seems to have thought of wyrtgeardes."
