BTC s.v.: "an unknown plant". The name 'two-leaf, Zweiblatt' does not suit Vinca minor L. well (cf. →perwince) but it goes perfectly with R. hypoglossum (which is also denoted by UICA PERUICA). Cf. L HA 58 (= VICTORIOLA, R. hypogl.), where the L names UICA PERUICA and DIGLOSSON ('double-tongue, Doppelzunge') are synonymous (as reference to the tongue shaped hyposophyll; cf. Marzell 2000,3,1545). The illustration of HA 58, which shows paired leaves, supports our identification.
