Cf. MED, s.v. gras 2a: "CENTENODIUM [= P. aviculare] is an herbe þat men clepe [...] sparwestungge or swynys grees."
Gough (1974,276) reads swinewert.
Against my previous reasoning (1977,116) that swinegers translates RARUM PORCINUM (a synonym of ORBICULARIS, Cyclamen europaeum L., in HA XVII), I now believe that swinegers more is more likely related to PROSERPINACA (HA XVIII), because in ME swines gras is recorded as name of P. aviculare.[1]
