Cont.: pintreowes sæp; L text (Löweneck 1896,32/2): SAGAPINO; L SAGAPINUS = GK σαγάπηνον (cf. CGL VII, s.v.), which is described as the sap of a Ferula species by Dioskorides. It probably is the sap of Ferula persica Willd., Persisches Steckenkraut (cf. Berendes 1902,III,95 and 320).
