Wynn emendiert zu REDIUIUA.
Not a botanocal term or plant name but BTS, s.v., have 'what springs again without sowing, flax' as possible meaning. The L lemma most likely is a corrupted REDIUIUA which according to Goossens (1974,A.1406) menas LANA DENUO [once again] COLORE TINCTA; this matches Schlutter's meaning 're-dyeing': cf. Wynn (1961,874): "Schlutter (MLN xxi, 1906,236-7, Anglia, xxx, 1907,252) is of the opinion that the lemma is the adj. REDIVIVA, renewed, renovated, and he assumes that aettaelg in Corpus stands for ed-tælg, 're-dyeing', with tælg = OE tælg, telg, dye." The DOE, s.v.: ?ed-telg, ?ed-telgung, ?ed-telga, argues in a similar way.
